How it works

One photo. A style. Your room, redesigned.

No measurements, no floor plans, no account of what you own. Atelier works from the photo you already have on your phone.

The short version

Three steps.

The fuller walkthrough is below.

01

Upload a room photo

One picture from your phone. A living room, a bedroom, a kitchen. No measuring, no floor plan, no account of what you own.

02

Pick a style

Warm minimal, japandi, mid-century, classic, and more. Each one is a real design language, not a filter.

03

See your room, redesigned

Atelier reads your room and renders it in the style, keeping your walls, windows, and layout. Then it lists the pieces that would get you there.

Step by step

The full walkthrough.

01

Upload your photo

Take a photo of the room you want to redesign, directly from your phone or from your camera roll. One photo is enough. The more of the room it shows, the better the redesign will capture it.

Tip

Shoot from a corner if you can. A wider view gives the model more of the room to work with.

02

Choose a style

Pick from six design languages: Warm Minimal, Japandi, Mid-Century, Classic, Scandinavian, and Modern Farmhouse. Each one is a real brief, not a filter. The free plan includes Warm Minimal and Japandi.

Tip

Try more than one on the same room, then compare side by side.

03

Wait about a minute

The render takes around 45 to 90 seconds. The vision model reads the room first. The image model re-renders it. The language model writes the piece list. All three happen before you see the result.

Tip

You will get a notification when the redesign is ready.

04

Review your redesign

You will see your room in the style you chose, keeping the walls, windows, and layout in place. Use the before and after slider to compare. The piece list below the render tells you the kind of furniture and finishes that would get you the look.

Tip

The piece list is meant to help you shop, not a direct link to a product. Use it as a vocabulary for what to look for.

05

Save and compare

Try the same room in a different style and put the two side by side. The rooms you save are there when you come back. Export your before and after as an image to share or keep.

Tip

Studio users can create before and after boards for client presentations.

A redesign is a direction, not a construction plan.

A render helps you decide on a look before you spend. It is not an architectural drawing and does not make structural claims. For anything structural, talk to a licensed professional. Read our approach.

The piece list

A vocabulary for the look, not a shopping cart.

After the render, a language model writes a list of piece categories that would get you the look in real life. It is grounded in the room the vision model read, tuned to the style, and written plainly so you know what to look for in stores or online.

The list does not link to products, does not have brand endorsements, and does not include prices. It is a direction for shopping, the same way a designer's brief gives you a direction for sourcing.
